President of Nigeria Amputee Football Federation (NAFF), Isa Suleiman, is contesting for the position of Second Vice President in the forthcoming election of Africa Amputee Football Congress.
NAFF Technical Director, Pius Asaba, who disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lagos, said that the election would hold next Wednesday in Luanda, Angola.
He revealed that Suleiman would be contesting alongside the Moroccan candidate, Adil Badr Ed Done Essaibi.
“Two delegates of NAFF will be going to Luanda for the Africa Amputee Football Congress in Angola.
“We will be leaving the country on Saturday, because we need to settle in before the day of election,” he said.
Asaba noted that the development would enable Africa to p[articipate in paralympics games.
“Africa does not participate in any Paralympics games. Africa will be able to feature in the next all African Games, Commonwealth and the rest of them.
“With the effort of the new government on board, we will be featuring in some of these games,” he said.
