The Chairman of Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN) Ltd., Alhaji Ahmed Wadada, has congratulated the President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, who turned 65 on Sunday.
Wadada, in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, commended the Kano-born industrialist for his immense contribution to the economic development of Nigeria and the African continent.
Wadada, who is a Senatorial aspirant for the Nasarawa West Senatorial District, also applauded Dangote for his support to the welfare and well being of the less privileged through his foundation.
He said that the Dangote Foundation had become the largest private organisation in sub-Saharan Africa, with the largest endowment by a single African donor.
Wadada noted that the Foundation’s intervention in child nutrition, health, education, empowerment and disaster relief is a testimony of Dangote’s humanitarian gesture.
“On behalf of myself and the entire members of my family, I congratulate the President, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, as he attains the age of 65 years.
“May the Almighty Allah continue to extend His hand of mercy over the life of Aliko Dangote and his family members,” he said.
