The Abia Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has condoled with the former President of the Senate, Chief Adolphus Wabara, over the death of his wife, Felicia.
In a condolence message to Wabara, signed by the Chairman, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, and made available to newsmen in Umuahia on Thursday, the party stated that it joined the bereaved family to mourn the deceased.
“There are indications that your wife was too close to you and we envisage the trauma you and the entire family members must be passing through.
“We are told that she was a woman with an uncommon dedication to work and diligence to duty.
“We are also aware that she took exceptional interest and care of her children and brought warmth personality and personal interest to all her interactions.
“We, therefore, commiserate with you and the entire family in this moment of grief,” the party added.
It thanked God “for her accomplishments and contributions to mankind”.
“Since it was the wish of the Almighty God to take her nearer to His presence, we will not question our creator.
“We shall continue to remember her through the many footprints she left behind.
“We, therefore, implore your family to have faith in God and remember the positive ideas for which she was noted while alive.
“May the Almighty God grant your family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” APGA further stated.
Wabara’s wife reportedly died on April 10 at the age of 69.
