The Nasarawa government has donated four transformers to Umaisha Development Area of the state, to boost power supply and enhance socio-economic activities in the community.
The Overseer of Umaisha Development Area, Iliyasu Usman, disclosed this to newsmen on Saturday in Umaisha, headquarters of Umaisha Development Area.
He said that the people would remain grateful to Gov. Abdullahi Sule for the gesture.
He expressed joy with the development and thanked the governor and the Speaker of the state legislature, Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi, for the concern they have shown for the people’s welfare.
He said that the transformers would boost socio-economic activities and enhance standard of living of the locals.
Usman re-assured the governor of his people’s support at all times.
A former Chairman of Toto Local Government Area, Prince Nuhu Adamu, and the APC Chairman in the council area, Shuaibu Ahmed, commended the governor for the donation.
They also commended the speaker who lobbied for the transformers, for the passion he has for his people.
The duo re-assured Gov. Sule and the speaker of the people’s support in the 2023 elections.
They called on the people to continue to sustain the peace and unity being enjoyed in the area.
