The Minority Leader, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Abel Bala, (PDP/Nasarawa Eggon West), has called on affluent Nigerians to always assist the less privileged in the society.
Bala made the call on Sunday while fielding questions from newsmen in Nassarawa Eggon.
According to him, such assistance help to improve on the living standard of the people.
He revealed that assisting the less privileged and showing them love would go a long way to address some of the security challenges facing the country.
The lawmaker congratulated Christians on the Easter celebration and assured them of a better life ahead.
He urged the people to celebrate peacefully, remain law-abiding and pray for the nation to overcome the current challenges.
Bala assured the people of quality representation and urged them to sustain the peace being enjoyed in the area.
He described Easter as a historic and unique occasion with characteristics that focused on love and sacrifice.
“We all need to imbibe the spirit of love, sacrifice, tolerance and support for one another irrespective of religion, ethnic and political differences,” he said.
The minority leader promised that he would not relent in his efforts towards the rapid development of the constituency.
