Two men were on Thursday docked in a Badagry Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing two television sets and toiletries.
The police charged Opeyemi Ishola and Isa Adele, whose addresses were not given with conspiracy and theft.
The Prosecution Counsel, ASP Clement Okuoimose, told the court that the defendants committed the offense on March 26, at about 5 a.m at No 3 Mogaji Close, behind Ahmed Str., Era-Ijanikin area of Lagos State.
Okuoimose said the defendants allegedly broke into the house of Ahmed Mogaji with intent to commit felony.
He said the defendants stole also stole a DVD player, a giant ceiling fan, half a bag of rice, and a beach umbrella.
The prosecution also said that the defendants broke into the house of Hassan Luqman at Alayo Str., Era Road Ijanikin the same day and time and stole electrical fittings.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr. Fadahunsi Adefioye, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N300,000 each with two sureties each in like sum.
Adefioye adjourned the case until May 10, for mention.
