Olusegun told our correspondent in Ilorin on Wednesday that it was necessary for youths to stay focused in the face of challenges staring them in the face.

The cleric said some of the challenges youths face included insecurity, academic instability, unemployment and economic challenges which had led to hunger.

He, however, urged youths to remain focused and pay attention to self development in the areas of creativity, skills acquisition and other beneficial learnings.

“I empathise with the youths of this generation who are going through a lot and it seems their pains are being neglected.

“I just want to encourage you that keep hope alive, you will enjoy your life in Jesus name.

“I know there are challenges everywhere; unemployment, inflation, insecurity, academic instability and a whole lot that cannot be mentioned.

“But be focused and keep developing yourself, pay attention to understanding and knowledge, it will make gains for you in the end.

“Focus will guarantee your speed and enjoyment in life, while self development will give you expansion; it will eradicate shame and ignorance.

“I pray that God will give our youths the grace to overcome distractions and pay attention to their desired goal,” Olusegun said.
