The FRSC state Sector Commander, Mr Ali Sule, gave the figure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Katsina.
Sule said that 538 corps members were mobilised toward achieving a zero-tolerance accident during the celebrations.
According to him, 438 regular and 100 irregular marshals have been engaged to take part in the unique campaign.
“We have already set up a mobile court from April 27, 2022, against erring motorists during the occasion.
“The court will operate and wind up on May 4, 2022. Our concern is to ensure that no life is lost during the celebration.”
Sule said that the agency would collaborate with other security agencies in the state like the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the police to ensure sanity on the highways.
“We will ensure motorists do not drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol; traffic rules and regulations must be observed toward reducing crashes on the highways to the barest minimum.”
Sule noted that the agency had organised enlightenment and sensitisation rallies at motor parks and other designated centres in the state.
