Dr Jimoh Ibrahim, an aspirant for Ondo South Senatorial District on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), has urged delegates to choose the best candidate to represent the senatorial district.
Ibrahim stated this in a telephone interview with our correspondent on Monday, while submitting his expression of interest and nomination forms at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
Ibrahim, a business mogul and Chairman of NICON Insurance, said his desire to help lift the senatorial district out of poor representation and under-development motivated his desire to offer himself for service.
According to him, he has all it takes to bring the district to limelight and put it on the world map through various development projects.
Ibrahim, who is also the founder of University of Fortunes, Igbotako, Ondo, said that he would address the incessant power outage in the area and deploy massive empowerment to the constituents, especially the youth so that they could be self-reliant.
“I will ensure quality representation in the senate through restoration of power to my senatorial district which has been experiencing blackout for almost 20 years.
“I will also ensure massive empowerment of my constituents, especially the teeming youth, so that they can be self-reliant.
“I urge delegates to choose the best candidate, who has the capacity and capability to bring the area back in reckoning,” the aspirant said.
NAN recalls that the business mogul had, last week, picked his expression of interest and nomination forms at APC national secretariat, Abuja.
