Nasarawa State Assemblyman, Danladi Jatau, has promised to initiate more projects, if re-elected in 2023.
Jatau, who represents Kokona West Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, made the pledge on Saturday while addressing youths in Yelwa electoral ward of Kokona Local Government Area of the state.
He promised to provide more dividends of democracy to improve the standard of living of the people in the constituency.
Jatau, who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Complaints, Petition and Security, said the meeting was aimed at informing the youths of his re-election bid as well as seeking for their support.
“You can testify of what I have done and still doing towards changing on your lives positively.
“I want to re-assure you that I will continue to improve on your standard of living positively through initiating projects and policies that will have direct bearing on our lives.
“I will initiate more projects, if re-elected come 2023,” he said.
Jatau pledged continued good governance and quality representation at the state legislature.
He urged the youths to continue to engage in meaningful ventures that would make them self reliant and for the overall development of the constituency.
He also advised the youths and other people to be law abiding, be their brother’s keepers, embrace peace and tolerate one another, irrespective of their affiliations.
The lawmaker further drummed support for Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed beyond 2023.
Responding on behalf of his colleagues, Mr Bala Mohammed, appreciated Jatau over his quality leadership and called for its sustenance.
Mohammed also assured Sule of their support at all times and wished Jatau well on his ambition.
