Nasarawa State Commissioner for Trade, Investment and Cooperative, Alhaji Salihu Ennah has urged residents of the state to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in order to elect credible leaders in 2023.
Ennah, who made the call on Wednesday while speaking with newsmen in Doma, said the PVC is the weapon of every citizen to choose candidates of their choice during elections.
“I want to call on the residents of Doma Local Government and the state at large to take advantage of the ongoing voters registration update and revalidation exercise to get their PVCs.
“I am also calling on eligible residents, who are yet to obtain their PVCs to do so to enable them vote at the general elections.
“You can only elect leaders of your choice when you have your PVC,” he said.
The commissioner also drummed support for the second term bid of Gov. Abdullahi Sule, urging the electorate to vote massively for him in 2023.
Ennah enjoined people of the area to continue to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.
Similarly, Alhaji Mustapha Idris, the APC candidate for Doma North constituency in the state assembly, also urged the people to collect their PVCs, so as to vote for credible leaders in 2023 and beyond.
