An Ilorin based legal practitioner, Mr Olamilekan Suleman, has advised the public to change their perspective on Nigeria being the worst country in the world.
Suleman, who gave the advice in Ilorin on Friday in an interview with our correspondent, said the country is naturally blessed and not as terrible as many Nigerians portrayed it.
According to him, Nigeria is still an exemplary country to some other nations.
“Many Nigerians do not see anything good in the country and they continue to label it the worst country. It is not so.
“We need to change our perception about our country and stop giving it bad names to the world.
“No country is perfect. Let us stop exposing our country to other nations. It is giving us bad names at the international level,” he said.
The lawyer, however, called for public re-orientation and change of mentality about Nigeria.
He also called on youths to appreciate their country and stop using social media to sell their country cheap or giving their country bad image.
