Prince Adesegun Banjoko, President, National Association of Block Moulders of Nigeria (NABMON), has felicitated Muslims across the nation on the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
Banjoko, in a statement on Saturday in Lagos, urged Muslims and all Nigerians to use the festival as sober reflection to pray for the resolution of problems confronting the nation.
“This is to extend warm felicitations to our Muslim brothers, nationwide on this year’s occasion of Eid -El Kabir festival.
“As seeds of Abraham, the lessons of obedience, fear of Allah and sacrificial offering in our relationship with God and fellow human beings as espoused by the festival should not be allowed to go down with the rams!
“Rather, we should observe the festival with sober reflections on the state of our nation, Nigeria, and pray to God to have mercy on us; heal our land and see us through the present threshold of calamities and uncertainties.
“May we live to celebrate many more years in the land of the living. Alahumo, Amin!,” he said.
