Gambo gave the advice after the prayers in Abakaliki on Saturday in celebration of the 2022 Eid-El-Kabir.
The Sarkin decried the way the nation had suffered from insecurity including, banditary, kidnapping and acts of terrorism and called for love and peaceful coexistence among citizens.
“We are one; Christian or Muslim, we worship one God. I want those causing trouble in the country, especially the Muslim faithful to use this period of Eid-El-Kabir celebration to seek the face of God.
“Those causing the trouble should bring their problems to table for settlement because stability of the nation can be achieved only by peace,” he said.
Alhaji Amimu Labaran, Chief Imam, Central Mosque, Abakaliki in Ebonyi urged all citizens to turn back to God in the effort to ensure security.
According to him, Nigerians must live as one as we seek the face of God in this Salah celebration.
“All we are asking God is to bring peace for us. In this electioneering period, the politicians should play the game by the rules.
“We should avoid ethnic violence, love one another; say no to terrorism, banditry, killings and all sort of problems in the country.
“We pray God to bring to an end the insecurity issue,” Labaran added.
