This is contained in a statement by NCPC Head of Media, Toruka issued from the State of Israel, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
“I urge you all to comfort yourselves in Israel as good citizens of Nigeria,” he said, adding that they should embrace the virtues of Christian values while performing the pilgrimage.
The chairman further enjoined them to take their spiritual exercise seriously as they go through the various holy sites in Israel.
According to him, when they display the right spiritual attitude, they will have an enduring encounter with God before the end of the pilgrimage.
The Nigerian Christian pilgrims in Israel are from Borno and Yobe, and some consular personnel.
