Since the start of the Russian invasion in late February, 445,870 Ukrainians have received temporary protection in the Czech Republic, according to a recent report by Interior Ministry on Thursday.
Over 120,000 refugees have gained employment and are therefore paying taxes and welfare contributions.
The EU and NATO member states have a population of around 10.5 million, excluding those with temporary protection status.
