Grammys: Nigeria got talent – Moghalu pays tribute to Burna Boy, Wizkid

Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, an ex-Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, and former presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections, has joined other Africans and Nigerians in particular in celebrating A-list artistes, Wizkid and Burna Boy for their feats at the recently concluded Grammys event.

WITHIN NIGERIA reported yesterday that Burna Boy who was nominated for the second consecutive year, won the Best Global Music Album category while Wizkid also claimed the Best Music Video for his song with Beyoncé; Brown Skin Girl, from Lion King: The Gift album.

As earlier reported, Grammy Awards, being the 63rd, was held in Los Angeles, USA. The Awards event is celebrated globally as “music’s biggest night.”

Reacting to the news, the political leader, in a terse, said, “I congratulate Burna Boy and Wizkid for their Grammys award wins this evening. Exciting news!

“This is a tribute to the industry of Nigerian youth and our country’s capacity to compete and win on the world stage. Nigerians got talent. Let’s use it”.
