Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji, profoundly called ‘Olamide’, has announced the completion of his next studio album on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
The singer revealed in a series of updates on his official Instagram Stories after the celebration of his 32nd birthday on Monday, March 15.
“Worry not… I just completed my album yesterday. I’m ready for you guys, just pick a date”, the ‘Science Student’ singer wrote in response to a fan who requested new single from the hip-hop musician.
Olamide didn’t give further details about the just completed album, however, it will be his 12th body of work and a follow up to his 2020 compilation, ‘Carpe Diem’, that was released on October 8.
‘Carpe Diem’ is a 12-track album featuring Omah Lay, Fireboy DML, Peruzzi, Bad Boy Timz, Bella Shmurda and Phyno with production credits to Young John, Pheelz, P.Prime, IDcabass and VStix.
In February last year, Olamide announced that his record label, YBNL Nation, signed a Joint Venture deal with international distribution company, Empire. He also added that Fireboy DML and any new artiste signed to YBNL Nation will benefit from the deal.
