Arise TV host, Oseni Rufai has condemned the lavish display of wealth at the burial of the mother of Obi Cubana in Oba, Idemili-South Local Government of Anambra State.
Ruffy D Fire as he’s popularly called by his fans, said he has no problem with people giving their loved once a befitting burial but there’s a decent way to do it and that didn’t happen in Oba during Obi Cubana’s mother’s funeral.
WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that the billionaire club owner became talk of the town after he buried his late mother, Ezzine Iyiegbu in grand style, in what many have called a lavish display of wealth over the weekend in Oba, Idemili-South Local Government rea of Anambra State.
Oseni questioned the message such a display is sending to boys and young men, who watch videos of the much talked about burial.
“Our nation has become all about money, all about materialism, all about showing people that you are rich and others that are poor, they can go and die” he said.
He argued that on the same day Obi Cubana buried his mother, “the who in who in this country were at Aig-Imoukhuede’s mother’s burial, we didn’t see Naira being flaunted.”
