‘King of Boys’ movie sequel will be available on American giant streaming platform, Netflix, on August 27, 2021.
The movie producer, Kemi Adetiba, in an Instagram post, revealed the movie will make its debut on Netflix as a limited seven-episode series.
‘King Of Boys’ part 2 themed ‘The Return of The King’, sees the shocking return of Sola Sobowale (Eniola) from her five-year long exile.
Kemi Adetiba said she never though the movie would be as successful as it is while speaking on the crime political drama. “When I decided to tell the King of Boys story, I never imagined it would take on a life of its own in the way it has.
“It’s been such an exciting ride from its introduction in 2018 to the Nigerian audience, and their reception was so incredible that the fans have been clamoring for more.
“I’m so honored that today, I get to share the world of Eniola Salami and King of Boys 2: The Return of the King to a global audience, but this time with the massive backing of Netflix.
“Continuing the King of Boys journey with Netflix is a big deal for me, especially as this time, it will be served to the world as a limited 7-part series”.
King of Boys sequel stars Makanaki (Reminisce) Odogwu Malay (Ill Bliss ), Aare Akinwande (Akin Lewis), Sade Bello ( Osas Ighodaro), Ade Tiger (Titi Kuti), and Mumusa (Keppy Ekpeyoung) reprise their roles from the first movie.
Others are Jumoke Randle (Nse Ikpe Etim), Ifeanyi (RMD), Dapo Banjo ( Efa Iwara), Adetola Fashina (Deyemi Okanlawon), Odudubariba (Charly Boy ), and Tunde Randle (Lord Frank).
