Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) signee, Mayorkun, says the last nine (9) months have been challenging for him.
The self-titled Mayor of Lagos disclosed the months have been roller coaster in his recent tweet on micro-blogging and social media platform, Twitter.
Mayorkun opened up while sharing how many people think he is a fortunate man with no form of negative occurrence in his life. The ‘Your Body’ singer noted he has faced a lot, which included love and betrayal.
“Most people think I’m incapable of anger, sadness & all those other negative things… But trust me; the last 9 months have been a roller coaster of different emotions,” Mayorkun revealed.
He added that, “Love, envy, betrayal, loneliness; most of which I made music about.. It reminded me of who the fcuk I am.”
Mayorkun is set to premiere new single titled ‘Let Me Know’ on Thursday, August 19, 2021 midnight.
