For the fourth episode of Showmax’s The Buzz on Saturday, August 14, 2021, Toke Makinwa was joined by BBNaija Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, as well as Deborah Waters and Efe Warri Pikin.
They discussed everything that went down in the house over the week. From Pere’s military regime, Whitemoney’s place in the house, the bonds forming, Angel’s game, and fights that plagued the Shine Ya Eye housemates. Even better, we got to see the housemates’ secret diary sessions.
These secret sessions on The Buzz allow housemates to rant about any and everything, and some of the juiciest details are revealed here. People discuss who they like, who they want to be with, those they can’t stand and more.
Here’s a quick summary of what some of your favourite housemates had to share during their fourth secret diary sessions on The Buzz:
– Michael told Big Brother that he’s looking forward to contrasting the housemate’s characters when they are out of the house with what he’s seeing inside the house. He says the goal is to see who is really being themselves.
– Nini says Saga was the first person she connected with within the house, and he’s such a good friend. She believes she can trust him because he’s loyal.
– Saga also thinks his relationship with Nini is okay. He shared that other housemates have been telling him he looks like a fool because of how he is around her.
– Liquorose talked about the tension in the house since Monday’s nominations. She says there’s an overall vibe of distrust, and everyone is distancing themselves from each other.
– Jaypaul says he deliberately didn’t take any lady with him to the executive lounge because he hasn’t decided who he likes. He says he felt like since he’s cool with all the girls, anyone he chose would have caused a fuss in the house.
– Angel talked about her fight with Sammie. She explained that she felt terrible that he slut-shamed her because they were close enough for him to know better.
– Sammie also talked about the fight saying that he wasn’t going to respond, but the insults were too much. He also admitted to feeling bad because Angel’s mood was off, and he just wanted to do everything to fix it.
– KayVee also weighed in on Angel and Sammie’s fight saying he didn’t blame her for taking Sammie’s words so personally. As far as he was concerned, it was a game, and Sammie took it too far.
– Tega talked about the ships. She said that some of them are becoming ‘okadas’ and others have been abandoned by their captains.
– Whitemoney told Biggie about Cross, Liquorose, and his efforts to keep the house clean.
– Yousef feels like the housemates sometimes think he’s pretending to be nice when he’s just genuinely being nice.
– JMK just wants to have fun, and she needs the housemates to let loose some more so that she can catch her cruise in peace.
– Pere talked about how annoying it is that housemates don’t clean up after themselves.
– Jackie B shared that she was happy she could control herself during her argument with Maria. She was grateful she had her friends around her because they held her back.
– Cross is just over the constantly changing dynamic of the house. He says one minute they are having fun, the next – everything is upside down, and they just never know what to expect.
– Arin feels it’s hard for her to be cool with someone who has disrespected or hurt her friends, even in the house.
– Emmanuel was just hoping to still be in the game after the live show on Sunday. He actually survived that experience as only Arin and Princess were evicted from the show on Sunday evening.
– Peace talked about trying to get her voice back, but nothing has been working.
– Princess thinks Whitemoney has been a lifesaver and has been doing a fantastic job with the kitchen.
– Boma is tired of all the arguments in the house because he thinks a lot of them don’t make any sense.
– Maria is just sick of the house and being disrespected because of Pere, and she’s had enough.
– Saskay feels overwhelmed by the idea that Cross has feelings for her and sees the whole thing as a distraction from her game.
– Queen shared that she’s looking forward to staying in the house and hopefully winning the prize money so she can use it to finish specific projects.
The secret diary sessions are exclusive to Showmax. They feature as part of the streaming platforms’ new show, ‘The Buzz’, hosted by award-winning media personality, Toke Makinwa. Brand new episodes are released on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 7 pm.
