Self-titled African giant, Burna Boy, has released a brand-new music—audio and video titled ‘Question’, featuring Mavin Records’ head-honcho, Don Jazzy.
The Grammy Award winner premiered the new single a day after he was bestowed with specially crafted gifts from the Recording Academy, the organisers of the Grammys.
On the new song is another testament of Burna Boy’s enviable talent and his ability to collaborate with other musicians doing different genre of music. Don Jazzy took a softer approach, blending Burna Boy’s vibrant lyricism with his add-ons.
The video for ‘Question’ opens with Burna Boy in his hometown having a swell time with some children who were evidently happy to be around the international superstar. ‘Question’ depicted the innocence of the kids through different fun activities they engaged in.
Being a conscious musician, Burna Boy brought to life his spirit of activism when he threw subtle shades at his critics. He sang that no matter how many tomatoes they eat, they cannot become ketchup.
He also added that anything [bad] they wish him shall be their portion and irrespective of their bad thoughts towards him, he keeps flying high like a helicopter because God isn’t man.
Don Jazzy, always showcasing himself as an OG, put more aesthetic to the visuals with his humorous body gestures and comic relief. Watch the video below;
