Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has slammed Yoruba Nollywood actors for constantly requesting sex from female coworkers in exchange for a movie role.
This follows the claim that Odunlade Adekola was always demanding sex from his proteges before giving them roles.
Odunlade, on the other hand, rejected the accusations and challenged any actress from whom he has ever requested sexual favours in exchange for a role in any of his films to come up and speak the truth.
Nkechi Blessing, in an interview with Nigerian journalist Chude Jideonwo, said many actors were silent about the issue of Baba Ijesha because they are all guilty of the problem.
According to Nkechi Blessing, many actors are always afraid to speak against the issue of rape or sex so that their victims will not speak up or react.
The controversial actress added that many actors publicly tell their female colleagues that they will not get a role if they do not sleep with them.
On being chased out of Yoruba Nollywood, Nkechi Blessing said she had always wanted to leave the industry, adding there’s no money there and she would not use fame to feed her family.
