Tiwa Savage, a mother of one, has emerged the most searched keyword on Google in Nigeria after a tape showing the singer and her new boyfriend during their canal knowledge leaked online.
According to Google trends confirmed by WithinNigeria, keywords related to Tiwa Savage were explored on the search engine over 200,000 times on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
Before the clip surfaced online on Monday night, October 18, Tiwa Savage had announced that a blackmailer was attempting to extort money from her in exchange for the lecherous video, but she refused to pay the ransom, citing that the blackmailer won’t stop requesting for more money.
Tiwa Savage declared herself ready for the next line of action whenever the video gets to the public in a chat with Angie Martinez on New York Power 105.1 FM.
Eventually, the video seeped into the internet two weeks after her interview, and applauded herself for having control over the situation ahead of the blackmailer.
“You hated how I was able to control the narrative and get ahead of a story before it consumed me and how I’m able to joke on stage about something you taught should destroy me and make me feel ashamed. You must knock my head when you see me otherwise…,” Tiwa Savage wrote in her Instagram stories hours after the video went viral.
