Nigerian singer, Akanbi Bamidele Brett, popularly known as Cheque has called out the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Twitter.
According to Cheque, he was unjustly taken by the officials of the commission. He didn’t reveal why he was taken or what he is being accused of, but he informed his fans that he was assaulted by them.
Sharing the ugly experience, Cheque questioned the Federal Government on why they will allow EFCC to harass and maltreat the youths.
While many sympathized with him, Others decided to mock his plight. They reminded him of the time EFCC arrested socialite, Obi Cubana and he spent three days in their custody.
