American rap heavyweight, Ja Rule was in Nigeria as he headlined the International Stout Festival organized by Trophy Stout on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at La Madison Place, Lekki Lagos.
As expected, the multiple Grammy award-winning rapper brought his top-notch rap game as he took to the stage to thrill hip-hop fans with the performance of his many hit tracks that put him on the map in the early 2000s.

1) He revealed his 2 favorite tracks written by him for other artistes
The New-York born rapper while on stage disclosed his 2 favorite songs written by him for other singers.
Ja Rule stated that ‘Rainy Days’ by Mary J. Blige and ‘What’s Luv’ by Fat Joe are two of his all-time best tracks written by him for other singers. Ja Rule who is also featured in the 2 hit songs went ahead to perform the tracks on stage. It is safe to say, it was a night of nostalgia for the hip-hop fans.
2) Ja Rule disclosed that he is a ‘Fast & Furious’ fan and dedicated one of his songs to Late Paul Walker
The American iconic rapper, Ja Rule dedicated one of his rap tracks to Paul Walker and revealed that he is a big fan of the ‘Fast & Furious’ movie.
It can be recalled that one of the major cast in the movie, Paul Walker died in a tragic car accident in 2013 while attending a charity event in Los Angeles. Ja Rule stated that ‘Paul Walker was a brother and a friend.’
3) He reiterated his love for Nigeria and his fans from the West African country
While on stage, Ja Rule professed his love for Nigeria and his teeming fans from the West African country. He opened up on how he has missed Nigeria and made reference to the last time he visited the country 7 years ago.
We recall that Ja Rule and his favorite pair, Ashanti visited Nigeria in 2014. The pair performed on the 3rd of October in the spirit of the nation’s 54th Independence Day celebration.
