The new additions for the sequel of EbonyLife and Netflix’s anticipated movie ‘Chief Daddy’ have been unveiled.
The family sequel directed by Niyi Akinmolayan is scheduled to be released in January 2022 and the new addition to the cast are popular Instagram comedian Broda Shaggi, Rahama Sadau, and Uzor Arukwe.
It has been confirmed that the title for the sequel would be ‘Chief Daddy: Going for Broke.’
Funke Akindele-Bello, Shaffy Bello, Kate Henshaw, Joke Silva, Rachael Oniga, Ini Edo, Patience Ozokwo, Nkem Owoh, Dakore Akande, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Beverly Osu, Beverly Naya, Falz, Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman, Chigul, Mawuli Gavor, among others, played amazing roles in the previous movie, and these new additions will bring even more life into the family sequel.
Although there is no official synopsis announced for the family sequel, it is highly likely that the sequel will follow the previous story of the dysfunctional Beecroft family, taking us through how they navigate their family’s finance and dispute.
What to expect from the Chief Daddy sequel
With how interesting the first one was, looking forward to this sequel won’t be a bad idea. The Chief Daddy movie is already a fun-packed one with the talented line of the cast in it already and the new additions will only bring more laughter and drama into the sequel. This in itself alone is enough to look forward to.
The family comedy sequel will premiere exclusively on Netflix on January 1, 2022.
