RMD to narrate documentary about the Cherubim & Seraphim church

Cherubim & Seraphim

When we talk about religious organizations in Nigeria, the Cherubim & Seraphim church founded by Moses Orimolade is one institution that is worthy of being studied.

Over the years, the church has grown from just one branch to several others across the country with the church recognized as one of the prominent white garment churches. Its principles and tenets also set them apart from every other church, and their members are seen as ‘being in sync with spirituality.’

Sometimes, there is a need to look into the creation of this church, as well as the structure that has kept it standing over the years but there is no definite way to determine that.

Nigerian filmmaker, Ola Ajayi is about to bring a solution to that problem as she has unveiled a forthcoming documentary titled ‘The White Garment Church’ based on the history of the church’s leader, Moses Orimolade.

The documentary is reported to be set to be narrated by Nollywood veteran, Richard Mofe-Damijo, and directed by Emmanuel Wogu, along with featured interviews with church leaders and followers of the church.

“I’ve been doing short films all my life. I told my mum about this idea and she introduced me to people that could make the production come to life. Then, I was introduced to RMD and I pitched my idea to him. I was nervous while pitching the idea to him.”

The documentary will have its focus on the religious institution and correcting or shinning the light on the common misconceptions surrounding the church.
