Chubby Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has listed the differences between poverty virus (POVID-21) and coronavirus (COVID-19) in her recent social media post.
The beautiful thespian opined some people think they have the novel COVID-19 because of the symptoms they experience, while what they have is what she called the poverty virus.
Dayo highlighted headache and some other fever symptoms as signs of POVID-21. She said; “If you are experiencing the following: headache, poor eyesight, high temper, always out of mind, difficulty in sleeping, easily irritated and angry, can’t communicate properly and feeling dizzy… This is not CORONAVIRUS!
She further stressed that the symptoms in the list point to poverty, not coronavirus. “These are signs and symptoms of a person with no money!!! It is called POVID-21. Poverty Virus Disease 2021. Don’t get scared, this one does not kill,” Dayo added.
According to World Health Organization (WHO), fever, cough, tiredness, loss of taste or smell are the most common symptoms of COVID-19, while the less common symptoms are sore throat, headache, aches and pains, diarrhea, a rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes and red or irritated eyes.
WHO pointed out difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, loss of speech or mobility, or confusion and chest pain as serious symptoms of coronavirus.
