Davido buys Zlatan Ibile T-shirt for #2.7m

Nigeria’s musician and songwriter, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido bought colleague and friend Zlatan Ibile, a T-Shirt for five thousand pounds (N2,716,590.17) as Zlatan celebrates his 27th birthday today. While buying the shirt, Davido said,

“I don’t know how much this shirt costs but we don’t buy anything for the same price. I’m the first one to do it, I’m buying this shirt for five thousand pounds.”

It is obvious that Davido has been on a giving spree for weeks now, maybe due to the Christmas spirit.

It would be recalled that as part of his birthday celebration last month, the singer decided to give back to society by donating N250m to orphanages across Nigeria.

Last Saturday, he revealed that his #250m orphanage fund received over 1,234 applications. Davido dropped updates on his instastories, on the selection and disbursement process of the fund. The application, which was open to only registered orphanages in Nigeria, lasted for three days.
