Davido, the Nigerian Afro-pop star, says he will be launching his own reality television show very soon.
The 29-year-old singer spoke about his plans when he featured on ‘Tea with Tay’, a podcast by Temisan Emmanuel, the Nollywood actor and comedian.
The musician said he has a reality show about his life that is coming soon.
Davido also said he ventured into acting in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted things.
The award winner added that he was already working on a script, taking acting classes online, and getting ready to feature in some movies before the pandemic.
“Before Corona, I was supposed to act. I have a script already prepared, I already entered Nollywood before corona came in,” he said.
“I was doing zoom acting classes. We are about to get into some movies actually, and reality shows. We have a reality show coming.”
Family matters
Speaking about his family, Davido said he does not subscribe to the culture of stigmatisation against baby mamas.
“Let’s stop the stigma of the whole having child with somebody and not being with them,” he said.
“With me, we are all good people together. We never met in situations where it was a one-night stand or they are trying to blackmail with child to get money.
“So, it has always been about love with me, I think that’s why relationships with my kids are great. I can never ever say I want to fight with my kids’ mothers. Even giving to my kids I know what they went through. So it’s not about providing financially.”
The singer has five kids with five different women, whose names are Sophia Momodu, Amanda, Chioma Rowland, Ayotomide Labinjo, and Larissa Lorenco.
