Following the exchange between Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale and some Nigerian celebrities, Ghanaians have vowed to start boycotting shows headlined by Nigerian artistes in Ghana.
This follows a series of rants by Shatta Wale on social media where he slammed singers and blasted Nigerians over what he described as ingratitude for nor appreciating how Ghana has helped the Nigerian music industry.
It seems that Ghanaians are keeping to their promise as a recent concert Davido performed saw few people in attendance.
In response to the turnout at the show, some fans of Shatta Wale took to social media to rejoice.
@bennimx wrote; ”Davido Performed to 33 fans yesterday in Ghana, this streets will show Nigerian artists something they will never forget!!!”
