Respected musician Wizkid has preached to support unity in the continent of Africa days after Ghanaian dancehall singer Shatta Wale attempted to drag Nigerians through the mud.
WithinNigeria had earlier reported how Shatta Wale took to his social media platforms to lambast Nigerian artistes, claiming they sing about love, but do not show love.
Shatta Wale’s outburst created heated arguments online. A lot of Nigerian entertainers reacted to the singer’s shades. However, Wizkid has indirectly advised him to give room for unity.
Wizkid, during his recent performance, told the attendees at the event that he doesn’t care about colour or race, he’ll show everyone love the same way he does to his brothers and sisters.
The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner further spoke to the concertgoers that they should not segregate because Africa is one and the continent moves together.
Wizkid stressed that it is one love, one Africa everyday irrespective of the country. Be it Kenya, Ghana or Nigeria, he said “we are all the same people”.
