Did Davido really rake $22.3 million in 2021?

Bar the Champion Sound and Adekunle Gold’s High feature, it is safe to say Davido had a not so overwhelming 2021 if we are going by his standards. While he may have soft-pedaled on music, we can’t dispute the fact that OBO honed other aspects of his life which includes his Brand and global recognition.

Davido made a riling statement about 2021 earnings on New Year’s Eve and many don’t seem to believe the figures. You can pretell to find Burna Boy on the list of doubting Thomases.

If you thought this post is a serious read, then you must have believed Davido had 30billion cooling in his account. No doubt the 30BG camp made shitload of money in the previous year as Davido’s manager Asa Asika and lawyer, Prince could be seen gloating in the comments section of Davido’s recent post on Instagram.

Asa noted that it was a funny year but they made a lot of money; Davido had a follower count of 22.3 million on Instagram at the time he posted about making $22.3million dollars. Either it is a coincidence or Davido is such a cruise lord, the PR goal was fulfilled.
