Nicolas Cage Expecting Third Child At 57 With His 27-Year-Old Wife Riko Shibata

Hollywood actor, Nicolas Cage is going to be a dad again at 57! The actor and his fifth wife, Riko Shibata, are adding an addition to their family.

The pair are expecting their first child together after tying the knot last year. Their representative confirmed the exciting news to PEOPLE, claiming, “The parents-to-be are elated.”

The Face/Off actor is already a father to two sons — Kal-El, 16, and Weston, 31 — whom he shared with two of his former partners.

Cage and Shibata first met in Shiga, Japan, when mutual friends introduced them. At the time, Cage was in town to film Prisoners of the Ghostland.

They later married on February 16, 2021, in a “very small and intimate wedding at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.” The wedding date was decided to honor his late father’s birthday.

The actor confirmed the news of the nuptials in a statement, saying, “It’s true, and we are very happy.”
