‘Dumebi’ crooner, Rema, has announced he has plans to release his new album, titled ‘Raves and Roses’, before he resumes his tertiary education at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The Mavin Records singer disclosed this following his announcement that he had gotten admission into the creative art department of the reputable institution.
“What if I told y’all I got an admission into Unilag? Lol, Mom said I still need to get a degree sigh, oh well, see you guys in class!” Rema tweeted on Friday night.
He later added that “I will try to drop the album before I enter school. So they’ll not beat me in UNILAG. Plus, I’m in the Creative Art Department.🤫😂 ,” he wrote.
The ‘Soundgasm’ singer is expected to resume school this year.
Rema, in an interview in 2021, hinted the title his forthcoming album is ‘Raves and Roses’. The singer broke into instant limelight after the release of his self-titled Extended Play (EP), Rema, in 2019.
