Popular Nigerian musicians, Wizkid, Davido, and PSquare are the headliners for the AfroNation 2022 edition.
They are slated to perform alongside other international artists such as Chris Brown, Megan Thee Stallion, Bennieman, and Kranium.
Afro B, Wande Coal, Ckay, Tems, Diamond Platnumz, Koffee, Naira Marley, Rema, Tekno, Patoranking, Olamide, and Yemi Alade are some of the other artists that are scheduled to be at the festival which is regarded as one of the world’s largest Afrobeats festivals.
The festival is said to take place in two regions this time after a two-year hiatus.
The first phase will take place between March 24, 2022, and March 26, 2022, in Balneario de Carolina, Puerto Rico, while the second edition will take place from July 1, 2022, to July 3, 2022, on the Praia da Rocha beach in Portimo, Algarve.
AfroNation had two previous editions postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic and is returning this year with a ‘landmark’ iteration.
AfroNation is a music festival that celebrates Afrobeats, hip-hop, Afrohouse, Amapiano, dancehall, R&B, and other genres.
