Nigerian Afro-pop singer Adekunle Gold is targeting the international market with his forthcoming fourth studio album dubbed ‘Catch Me If You Can.’
Adekunle Gold, one of the most enviable singers in the Nigerian Music Industry, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, dropped a cinematic video to introduce the guest artistes on his soon-to-be-released album.
Adekunle Gold collaborated with top international musicians to berth ‘Catch Me If You Can’ like British-Jamaican rapper Stefflon Don, American singer Ty Dolla Sign, Malian singer Fatoumata Diawara, and others.
Sharing the video (below), he said; “How long it took to finalize the TRACKLIST is unforgivable (sorry to my team) but all passengers are boarded and we are ready to take flight. Buckle up, It’s about to be a movie #cmiyc.”
Off the album is Adekunle Gold’s new single, ‘Mercy’, which he released on January 21. In the song, Simi took the introductory verse for her husband to establish the synergy between the indomitable music couple. Adekunle Gold, a beautiful singer, delivered effortlessly and armed the single with stunning lyrics.
‘Mercy’ has Adekunle Gold praying to God to open his eyes to know his real friends so as not to dine and wine with his enemies. While praying against disgrace, he asked for ‘Mercy’ and stressed that fake love is now rampant.
‘Catch Me If You Can’ album is scheduled for February 2, 2022.
