YouTube today announced the names of African creators who have been chosen to join a global cohort of 135 from around the world in the company’s flagship YouTube Black Voices Fund initiative, and ten Nigerian creators made the list.

The fund is primarily interested in investing in Black creators from around the world who are telling new and authentic stories.

The list comprises creators from countries across Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa, but one major similarity with them all is that they aim at making a difference in their communities with their content.

These Youtube creators will be provided with funds along with other great opportunities like hands-on training, workshops, and networking programmes.
