Nigerian singer and Dangbana Republik frontline act, Bella Shmurda has cleared the air on the issues he has with his school, Lagos State University.
According to the 25-year-old singer, he has finished his programme with Lagos State University but has a couple of carryovers in courses which will have him spending an extra year in the school.
Recall that the school a while back requested that Bella Shmurda come back to finish his degree and the singer responded with a line from his hit song, “Vision 2020” that said ‘4 years in LASU is really nothing.’
However, he has assured that he would go back to finish his degree in school. Even though he stated that the degree was not important to him, he said he would do it for his family.
“My mum is always on my neck and she works in LASU. So definitely to be a responsible child. It’s not definite I will be in class but come on, I must get my degree. That’s the goal.
“I must finish my carryovers. Though I’m done with school I have an extra year. So I must finish all that.
“And I’ll be glad to do that because it’s what I really want. So, I have to finish up to be that legend, Bella Shmurda.
“For my school, definitely, I must get my degree. It’s important for me and my family. So shout out to Lagos State University. You guys are good, you guys are the best.”
