Popular Nigerian singer, Oxlade has been in the headlines for the past 24hours following the release of his sex tape. While the 24-year-old is seemingly not getting any backlash for the unsavoury videos of him making the rounds, a few people are worried about his career.

Well, Oxlade is not the only Nigerian celebrity to get entangled in a sexual scandal. Some of the popular names that resonate with our minds have been in similar situations in the past.

Wizkid’s alleged sex tape

In 2011, Wizkid was reported to have been arrested in Scotland with drugs and a sex tape appeared on the internet. The sex tape, which went viral, showed a Wizkid lookalike in a sexual act with an older white woman.

He denied being in the video. ‘I think you are either blind or stupid if you ask me about the tape,’ he wrote on Twitter at the time. He also released a song titled ‘It Wasn’t Me’ to clear up all the rumours about him.

The Wande Coal nude photo

In 2010, out of the blues, a nude photo of Wande Coal popped up on the internet.

His then record label, Mo’hits Records, released a statement insisting that the photo was fake and altered by an ‘enemy’ trying to bring down the singer.

Fans didn’t believe and Wande Coal’s career suffered the consequences.

Chidinma Ekile’s sex tape

Fans were stunned when a sex tape of a Chidinma look-alike leaked on the internet in 2013.

The girl in the sex tape displayed top notch sexual performances, too top notch for our own church chorister music star, Chidinma many argued.

In an interview with HipTV, rapper Illbliss, defended her ‘All she did was cry her eyes out, saying ‘I’m only a small girl; I’ve not wronged anybody, why will anyone do this to me?’

It was later found out the girl in the video was not Chidinma.

Davido has had his fair share of sex scandalism – one sure thing every celebrity has to combat with, the moment they sell their souls to the public.

However, this wouldn’t be Davido’s first involvement with women who just want to have a piece of him and tell the tale later.

In 2012, a lady whom he met while on tour in Ghana, posted images of the aftermath of their steamy rendezvous, but unbeknownst to the world, this would be the first of many.

It was 2018, a random Twitter User casually shared what seems to be an after-sex video of Peruzzi and a Unilag student.

The said lady is believed to be a mass communication student of The University of Lagos and her name is Tobi Jacobs with Instagram handle @tobspopspos.

Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage’s sex tape literally was the biggest scandal of 2021 and we had Tonto waxing stronger in controversy the same year.

Mama Jam Jam had earlier cried out that she was being blackmailed after a private video of herself and her lover made it into the wrong hands.

Well, it seems Tiwa called the blackmailer’s bluff, and the video was released to the public.

In one of the videos seen by SCOOPER NEWS, Oxlade was recorded engaging in sexual intercourse with an unknown lady.

According to reports, the musician allegedly created a Snapchat streak and gave it to a buddy to illustrate how he smashed the unidentified lady, and the friend then recorded the streak on his phone and published it online.

Other videos making the rounds include the 24-year-old fast-rising singer recording himself in his birthday suit and dangling his manhood in a provoking manner.

A sex tape of Indigenous singer, Abolore Adegbola Akande, popularly known as 9ice with an unknown woman performing oral sex on him went viral in 2019.

The husband and father of four publicly apologised to his wife, Sunkanmi after the video made it to the internet.
