Popular Nigerian gospel musician, Lanre Teriba, known by his stage name, Atorise has announced that he will be going on a musical tour in the United State of America with his Tungba-gospel music group.
Atorise in a statement released has stated that the US tour will take himself and his band to 21 states across the United States of America.
The Breakthrough tour as the musical tour was tagged has generated interest in the United States, according to the gospel artist, and a number of music producers are booking Atorise to perform his distinctive sounds at performances in locations such as Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia, and others.
Atorise, while speaking about the musical tour stated that it is a great way to open up after staying indoors due to the pandemic and he expressed his happiness to see his fans.
“This tour is a great way to rejoice as the world begins to open up again after the global pandemic. I can’t wait to see all of my fans throughout America.”
The tour will take off in Houston, Texas over Memorial Day weekend in May. Between June 25 and June 26, 2022, he will play at the ‘Summer 2022 African Pop-Up Festival’ in New York. Akin Akinsanya is the driving force behind the annual celebration, which celebrates African music, food, and culture across America.
In August, Atorise will play at the International Cultural and Music Convention – ICMC night at the ICCS SUMMIT in Washington, DC, alongside other international Gospel musicians.
