Skilled music doctor cum musician John Udomboso, famous as Young Jonn, has stated that African songs are now better after premiering his latest track dubbed ‘Dada’.
Young Jonn, a versatile music producer who has worked with top Nigerian musicians like Olamide, Kizz Daniel, Lil Kesh, and many others, held that songs coming out of the continent of Africa are now better than they used to be.
“I don’t think the days of good music are gone. As a matter of fact, I think we have better songs now, and it is slowly evolving to become much better. The African music scene keeps getting bigger and better,” he told Punch.
The veteran sound engineer’s expertise and experience in music span over a decade. These have made him an authority in the music industry, with a wide-range of understanding about how music works.
He also pointed out that there’ is no particular format for creating hit music. “There is no particular formula for making a hit song. One just has to let it flow. One should understand the working conditions suitable for one and let it flow. No pressure,” Young Jonn stipulated.
Commenting about his latest song, titled ‘Dada’, the Chocolate City signee noted the track is an interpretation of his talent; “Dada is an open expression of my artistry and how I can make so much beautiful music.”
Young Jonn, with his feel-good vibes and his mind-blowing knack for music, is ready to take the music scene by storm. ‘Dada’ is the first attack off his forthcoming EP, ‘Love Is Not Enough Vol. 1,’ which is due for release on April 1, 2022.
