Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of Ghana, has reacted to the recent feud between his country’s musician, Shatta Wale, and Nigerian superstar Burna Boy.
The president, who spoke at a press conference about the relationship between Ghana and Nigeria, stated that the outburst between the two artistes could have caused a ‘diplomatic incident.’
Akufo-Addo implied that their fight was because of the love both countries have for each other. He opined;
“Apart from musician Shatta Wale of Ghana and Burna Boy of Nigeria threatening to spark up a diplomatic incident recently, Nigeria and Ghana have always been siblings. Even though we quarrel and disagree occasionally, we love each other.”
Reacting to Akufo-Addo’s address, Shatta Wale appreciated the president, adding that he would go see him for other discussion.
“My president @NAkufoAddo said it was a “Diplomatic Incident” 😂🥂 Indeed it was 🙌😂😂.”
“Presidooo you do all 🙌✊🇬🇭 Ago come see you soon ..we get tings to talk about ❤️👍,” Shatta Wale tweeted.
