Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has unleashed her debut single for the year 2022 titled ‘My Man’, featuring Jamaican singer Kranium.
Egar Boi produced the new love single, ‘My Man.’ It follows the success of Yemi Alade’s latest hit track, ‘Tell Somebody’, which was a duet with the Mozambican Yaba Buluku Boyz– DJ Tarico, Preck, and Nelson Tivane.
Yemi Alade’s collaboration with Kranium will give her the required exposure in the Caribbean country. The song ‘My Man’ will further push her campaign as the most respected female singer in Africa and solidify her moniker, Mama Afrika.
The new single, ‘My Man’, comes days after Yemi Alade clinched a Grammy Award win through her collaboration on Angelique Kidjo’s ‘Mother Nature’ album.
The ‘Mother Nature’ album won the Best Global Music Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards, beating the likes of Femi Kuti and Wizkid.
