DJ Cuppy Says Her Charity Work Isn’t A Big Deal After Awarding University Scholarship To Teenage Hustler

Nigerian Disc Jockey, Cuppy, extends her charity work to an 18-year-old hustler on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

DJ Cuppy awarded a university scholarship to Tobi, a teenage caterer at her recent photoshoot for a beverage brand, Pepsi. The musician said that her tragic life story inspired her after listening to her.

Cuppy, afterwards, promised to sponsor Tobi, who is interested in studying hospitality, throughout her university via her ‘Cuppy Foundation’. She also vowed to provide her with all the resources she needs until she graduates.

Sharing an emotional video of her discussion with Tobi, the DJ said; “I feel like God wanted me to meet Tobi so I could change her life…. She was behind the scenes catering during my Pepsi photoshoot.”

“At 18 years old, her resilience after a such a life tragedy inspired me! 💔🥰 Best believe Tobi IS going to school and the @CuppyFoundation will provide EVERY resource she needs untill she graduates! 🕊📚 #CuppyCares,” she added.

DJ Cuppy’s benevolent gesture impressed her followers who showered her with praises and admiration, but she said it is not a big deal to help others.

The daughter of the business magnate, Femi Otedola, further advised her followers to make it a habit to show kindness.

She wrote; “Got so many messages of praise and appreciation over my recent charitable work… I’m grateful, but can we please NORMALISE acts of kindness? 🕊”

“It’s actually not a big deal for me to help others when I’ve had help most of my life. On to whom much is given, much is experred 🤲🏾💕”
