Afrofusion musician Burna Boy has emerged as the first African musician with an album that surpasses 500 million streams on Spotify, a music streaming platform.
The musician sets the new African record with his acclaimed fourth studio album titled ‘African Giant’, which earned Burna Boy his first nomination at the most sought-after Grammy Awards.

The album released by Spaceship Entertainment, Bad Habit, Atlantic Records, and Warner Music, on July 26, 2019, is a mixture of Afrobeats, Afrobeat, dancehall, pop, and hip hop.
‘African Giant’ album was produced by Kel-P, Benjamz, Dre Skull, and Skrillex, among others. The compilation of songs features guest appearances from Jorja Smith, Jeremih, Damian Marley, Zlatan Ibile, Angelique Kidjo, Serani, M.anifest, YG, and Future.
It contains 19 tracks.
