The first-look photographs for Lazer Pictures’ new collaboration with EvritFilms Distribution, titled ‘Golden Stripes,’ have been released.
‘Golden Stripes,’ directed by London-based director Peace Osigbe and produced by Marc Adebesin, addresses topics of child sexual assault, gang behavior, and nepotism.
The film follows the story of Tyrone, a young guy who, after a rough start in life, started a fulfilling career as an artist. Also, Tyrone was abused horribly as a child in a foster home that failed to fulfill its duty of care.
Tyrone is killed after a confrontation with a group of mystery criminals and others are given a fresh start and rediscovery as a result of his death.
‘Golden Stripes,’ which was recently shot in London, Kent, and Essex, will be distributed countrywide by EvritFilms. A grand premiere is also planned for London ahead of the film’s theatrical release in September 2022.
With an amazing cast that includes L Elikem Agbesi, Tanya Lindsay, Isobel Moon, Habida Moloney, Chloe Van Harding, Victoria Inyama, and Benjamin Adebesin, the film has now been certified as a British film by the British Film Institute.
