Actress Osas Ighodaro has been in the Nigeria Movie Industry, Nollywood, for ten years, working hard to achieve her goals.
The former beauty queen, actor and producer is best known for her work in ‘Rattlesnake’, ‘Smart Money Woman’, ‘Fela and the Kalakuta Queens’, ‘Cadillac Records’ & ‘Tyler Perry’s ‘Meet the Browns’ amongst her many projects.
Osas was named the ‘Highest Grossing Box Office Actress’ in Nollywood in 2018 and amongst the top 3 highest grossing actresses in 2020, respectively.
She ranked amongst the Top 3 National finalists in the American Black Film Festival/NBC Universal Star Project–monologue competition. In 2010, Osas was crowned Miss Black USA and won the award for Best TV Actress at the 2014 edition of Exquisite Lady of the Year Awards.
Speaking as a guest on the recent edition of Lili’s Couch by Lilian Afegbai, Osas gave some highlights through Nollywood since she made her debut. During the chat, Osas was moved to tears discussing some important, yet emotional, moments she had.
